A college sports bill in Congress has been fumbled yet again as U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson on Monday decided not to hold a vote for the much-hyped Student Compensation and Opportunity through Rights and Endorsements Act (SCORE Act).

For the second time in less than a year, House leadership canceled an officially scheduled vote on the SCORE Act. A vote to pass the NCAA-backed legislation was scheduled for this week, but House leadership pulled it off the schedule on Monday night.
